Door/Window Transmitter

This can be installed on either a door or a window frame. It detects the opening and closing of a door or window and installs with a very strong self-adhesive tape leaving no screw holes in your home! This is a very small two-piece unit that virtually disappears cosmetically. Other popular uses for this device are liquor cabinets, drug drawers, weapons safe or any similar manner. Wouldn’t it be nice to get an instant text message everytime someone is going into your safe when youre not around? You can even set timers so if someone forgot to close your safe/vault, you get an instant text saying “Jewelry Vault In Master Bedroom was left open at 8:35 pm on Tuesday July 23, 2013.”

Recessed Door Transmitter

This door transmitter works just like the sensor above, but is completely hidden in the door frame. If you are concerned about the cosmetic looks of the white sensor, this is the perfect solution for your doors.

Pet Immune Motion Detector

This device is placed in critical rooms to detect the movement of an intruder and ignores pets smaller than 50 pounds. If the alarm system is armed to “Away” mode, this detector becomes active. When your system is armed in “Stay” mode, this sensor is not active. If your pets are large, and have the run-of-the-house, we would recommend  Glassbreak Detectors instead. This unit is attached to the wall (usually in the corner of a room at a height of 7-10 feet).

Glassbreak Detector

This device is placed in rooms with locked windows to detect the sound of breaking glass. One unit will cover multiple windows in a room as long as the window is within 22 feet of the detector and the unit detects 360 degrees. This unit will normally be armed during “Stay” mode (so you can be protected while sleeping) or “Away” modes.

Smoke Detector

This device detects the presence of smoke 24-hours a day. Usually placed in rooms or hallways, this unit has a built-in horn, test button and low-profile design. It is always a good idea to place a unit in each room used for sleeping, large rooms and garages. Adding smoke detectors to your monitored alarm system will give you many benefits over traditional non-monitored smoke detectors. One main benefit is the fact that you will get a text message seconds after the alarm goes off, followed by a dispatch of the fire department by our monitoring center. It only taked about 5 minutes for a home to be engulfed in flames. At this point, the fire could be large and your home might not be able to be salvaged. If you combine our wireless communicating thermostats to your alarm system, your heating/cooling system will be shut off when a fire is detected. This could help tremendously. When fresh air is pumped into a building on fire, its basically fuel for the fire. Another great benefit is home owner insurance rates. Some companies offer up to 20% off for having a monitored alarm system with fire detection.

Carbon Monoxide Detector

Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector. Detects the presence of carbon monoxide gas 24-hours a day. Usually placed in rooms or hallways, carbon monoxide is a tasteless, colorless, but deadly gas that is a by-product of the combustion of fossil fuels such as naturals gas, heating oil, gasoline, propane, etcetera. The unit has a built-in horn and low-profile design. It is always a good idea to place a unit near each area used for sleeping, hallways, and large rooms. If you have more than one HVAC unit, you will need at least one carbon monoxide detector for every HVAC system.

4-Button Keyfob

This device allows you to arm or darm your system without going to the keypad. You attatch it to your keyring and it will work within 1,000 feet of your alarm system. This allows you to arm in Away Mode, Stay Mode, and Disarm the alarm system without touching the keypad. Additionally, there is a 4th button that can perform an auxillory function. When combined with home automation devices, you could have the fourth button open your garage, turn on lights, or even start the coffe pot in the morning! This device also has a feature to activate a silent panic. By holding down two buttons at the same time, you can have an automatic police dispatch without making a sound, or a phone call. Keyfobs are also a great solution for people who have a hard time remembering their code or those who always have their hands full when leaving the house. After you walk out and get situated in your car, simply press the “Away” button and your home is armed and protected.

Secondary Keypads

This home alarm system can have up to 5 total keypads. Larger homes with more than one main entry point may want additional keypads. Another common request is adding an additional keypad in the master bedroom on the nightstand. This helps to remind you to arm the system as you’re getting into bed and also provides a visual overview of your alarm systems current condtion.
